Mohawkite
New stone listed
Mohawkite comes from the Mohawk Mine in Keweenaw Co. Michigan. Once found as a by-product of copper and silver mining. Mohawkite comes from the Mohawk Mine in Keweenaw Co. Michigan. Once found as a by-product of copper and silver mining. It's a combination of copper arsenates with nickel, cobalt, silver and iron.

These stones I have listed are top quality. Beautiful shiny silver color metallics in snow white quartz. The metallics are evenly spread through the quartz in these stones. It's hard to find this quality these days. The evenly spread metallics are the most prized by jewelers and collectors. Much of this material has more metal with little quartz or vice versa. It also takes better quality material that will cut good solid stones without breaking. These are cut from material i've had stored for many years.
